Preparation and Photoelectrochemical Properties of Mo/N Co-Doped TiO2 Nanotube Array Films

Mo/N co-doped TiO2 nanotube array films were obtained by a combination of magnetron sputtering and anodization. The influences doping concentration morphology on the structure, morphology, elemental composition, light-absorption capacity, optoelectronic properties nanotubes studied. findings revealed that Mo was primarily incorporated into lattice in Mo6+ valence state, while N mainly embedded as interstitial atoms. It observed when power 35 W for TiN target 150 Mo-Ti target, exhibited best photovoltaic performance with photogenerated current 0.50 µA/cm2, which 5.5 times Mo-doped TiO2. enhanced photocatalytic efficiency can be ascribed to three main factors: an increase electrons holes, reduction band gap width, intense light absorption within visible spectrum.
